Full Crown Headdresses

Hello, I haven't been on here in almost a year but I just wanted to share some information about Unangax Full Crown Headdresses. I have made a total of 6 of these headdresses and let me tell you, it's quite something when you are making these. I have made one each year for the past 6 years. This year I made one for an auction and it sold for over $300. It is a very time consuming project that takes a lot of patience and concentration. This headdress in the picture is actually the very first one I made.

The picking of the beads and the measuring of the leather are believe it or not the easy parts. When the beads are getting sewn on is when the work comes in. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have poked my fingers and stabbed my hands with the needles. But the best way to finish a headdress is keeping your eye on the goal. When it's done you have a beautiful beaded project that you can honestly say is your work. I hope everyone decides to do something this interesting and time consuming. It gives you time to think as well as a beautifully finished project. Hope you enjoy.
