These Unangan Hats were made by my Uncle, Peter Devine. He's been working at Culture Camp for about four years teaching the boys and some girls how to make these hats. I haven't made one myself yet but I plan to in the future. Many people, even elders, come up to Culture Camp and make a hat. They are a great possession and even greater when you can honestly say it was made by you.
